Join us for a one-day silent Chan meditation retreat. The schedule includes meditation sits throughout the day, interspersed with walking meditation and instructional talks. A simple vegetarian lunch will be provided. Full-time participation highly encouraged. Doors will be closed during each sit. Please arrive on time. Bhikshuni Heng Chih is a Buddhist nun ordained in the Chinese Mahayana tradition for 42 years, under the guidance of the late Venerable Master Hsuan Hua. She is currently a Lecturer in Buddhist philosophy at Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia. Bhikshuni Heng Chih holds MA and PhD degrees in Translation of Buddhist Texts from the Dharma Realm Buddhist University.
