DRBU does not offer correspondence courses at this time.

If you are an international student, please note that DRBU is unable to accept overseas students at this time.

Campus

DRBU main campus is situated in a Buddhist community, the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas (CTTB). Given the environment, we recommend that you first visit the campus to experience life here before applying. Our students keep a semi-monastic schedule waking up for the 4am morning ceremony along with working alongside the community.

The City of Ten Thousand Buddhas has regular events throughout the year ranging from Dharma Sessions (where you practice intensively from 4am-10pm) to Sutra Study retreats. This is the best way to see if DRBU is what you are looking for.

DRBU also has a branch campus in Berkeley, CA. Unlike the CTTB, DRBU-Berkeley does not have a residential component and most of the students also work. Most classes are scheduled in the evenings. Please take a look at our course schedule for the semester to see what classes are being offered.
